Origin story

It started with a church phone bill.

CloudTalk began when a pastor asked Mark whether there was a better way to handle phone costs. The first system replaced an expensive setup and helped the church save more than $7,000 over the following years.

That experience shaped the company. Mark saw that churches, charities, schools, and small offices did not need another faceless telecom. They needed someone to map the real call flow, explain the choices, and stay available after the switch.
